This Build
A limited edition Land Rover that will capture the adventurous off-road spirit of 412 fortunate individuals only. This build is one of just a handful Defender 110s fitted with the factory BMW M52 motor, assembled in 1997 during the brief era of BMW’s ownership of Land Rover in South Africa.
Highly-optioned and upgraded with modern features, it combines the authentic heritage of the Land Rover marque with modern refinement for every day use. A true collector’s item, this Defender represents a sound investment in Land Rover heritage. Note that this Land Rover has been through a full, frame-off restoration process over a period of approximately 12 months.

This Build
This Defender 110 2.8i is one of the cleanest examples of a 5-door 110 powered by the BMW 2.8i in existence. Instead of putting it through our full frame-off restoration program, we carried out light cosmetic work to elevate it to our standard while preserving its originality.
Finished in Alpine with its original cloth interior that has been impeccably kept. This Land Rover is fitted with new 265/75/16 BF Goodrich KO2 tyres, a factory snorkel, off-road bullbar, roofrack and more! Extensive mechanical work has been carried out on this Defender. It will be sold with a PDI and thorough mechanical report. One of only 412 Defender 110’s with the BMW motor. This is your chance to own a piece of Land Rover heritage!

This Defender 90 2.8i is one of the cleanest examples we’ve come across. Instead of putting it through our full frame-off restoration program, we carried out light cosmetic work to elevate it to our standard while preserving its originality.

Our most highly-specced build to date. This Defender 110 is painted in a Porsche blue, with indus silver accents. The full length black canvas soft-top is also fully removable for open top adventure. The interior is adorned in smooth vanilla nappa leather, with billeted aliuminum trim throughout the cabin. Modern conveniences include a 10″ Apple CarPlay stereo, electric windows, central locking, and a back-up camera!

Nut and bolt restoration with a galvanized frame, rebuilt BMW M52 motor, and 5-speed R380 transmission.
Full Nappa Tan leather interior, removable canvas soft-top, air conditioning, and a Marshall speaker built into the centre console.
Two rear bench seats, seating 6 in total. Adventure grille, Puma bonnet, NAS bumper, central locking, and electric windows. LED head, bumper, and side lights. 255/85/16 BF Goodrich KM3 tires on 16″ gloss black Wolf rims.
Only 656 BMW 2.8i D90’s ever built. This unit is available as a left-hand drive.

This soft-top Defender is powered by a factory-fitted BMW M52 straight-six engine installed during BMW’s ownership of Land Rover in the late nineties. Painted in Marine Blue over black Nappa leather. Soft-top and series door-tops are fully removable. Five BF-Goodrich KM3 285/75/16 tires mounted on 16” Wolf wheels, riding on new Terrafirma shocks/coils.
Features include a cubby-box mounted Marshall speaker system with bass/treble control, new-style A/C system (blows ice cold), steel steering guard, WIPAC LED head and side lights, swing-out spare wheel carrier, Marine Teak decking, NAS rear bumper & USB charging.

This soft-top Defender is powered by a factory-fitted BMW M52 straight-six engine installed during BMW’s ownership of Land Rover in the late nineties. Extensive mechanical work done, odo currently sits on +- 120,000 miles. A new stainless steel performance exhaust system has been fitted.
This Defender is painted in Keswick Green over Berlin Brown leather. Soft-top and series door-tops are fully removable. Five Patriot Mud 265/75/16 tires are mounted on 16” Wolf wheels, and ride on new Terrafirma shocks/coils. Seating for 10 with lap belts.

Rare all original Land Rover Defender 90 2.8i, finished in Mediterranean Blue. Never repainted. Factory County decals. Full mechanical inspection and service completed by Land Rover specialists in Cape Town. New LED lights. Serviced A/C. Factory cloth seats covered in Melvill and Moon sand seat covers (not pictured). Original Owners Manual with accompanying literature. Unmolested example owned by a fastidious enthusiast.
One of only 656 ever produced by Land Rover with a factory BMW gas motor.

Frontrunner roofrack and ladder. Frontrunner gullwing windows. Serviced A/C. Factory cloth seats in dark granite trim.
